We've gathered in one place the entry rules for Uzbek citizens to the countries people most often fly to from Tashkent for a vacation. Rules are as of September 2026; before every trip we always double-check them for your dates.

Visa-Free

  • UAE — up to 30 days. The visa-free regime has been in effect since February 16, 2024.
  • Azerbaijan — up to 90 days; for the first 15 days you can stay without registration.
  • Georgia — visa-free. Since January 1, 2026, health insurance with coverage of at least $30,000 in English or Georgian is mandatory; without it, the fine is 300 lari.

Visa on Arrival

  • Maldives — free tourist visa at the airport. You need a passport valid for at least one month, a return ticket, an accommodation booking, and sufficient funds for the trip. No earlier than 96 hours before arrival, a Traveller Declaration must be completed for each traveler, including children, on the IMUGA portal.

Egypt: Depends on the Resort

  • Sharm El Sheikh — visa-free with a free Sinai stamp, for up to 14 days and only within Sinai.
  • Hurghada, Cairo, and the rest of the country — visa in advance from the Egyptian Embassy in Tashkent.
  • Passport valid for at least 6 months after your return; travelers under 21 only with one of their parents.

E-Visa in Advance

  • Thailand — since September 15, 2026, visa required: apply online at thaievisa.go.th, fee about 1,000 baht. You'll need tickets, a hotel booking, and a bank statement. Before departure, fill out the free TDAC arrival card. More on the Thailand visa.
  • Vietnam — e-visa at evisa.gov.vn: up to 90 days, single-entry $25, multiple-entry $50, usually 3–5 business days. If you fly directly to Phu Quoc, it's visa-free for up to 30 days, but only on the island.

Documents for Any Trip

  • To travel abroad you need an international passport — an ID card won't do.
  • A child must have their own international passport.
  • If a child travels with another adult (not a parent or guardian), a notarized undertaking from the accompanying adult is required.
  • From 15 to 18, minors can travel alone with their parents' consent.

In short

  • Visa-free: UAE, Azerbaijan, Georgia (with insurance).
  • Visa on arrival: Maldives. Visa-free with a stamp: Sharm El Sheikh.
  • In advance: Thailand, Vietnam (except Phu Quoc), Hurghada.
