Egypt is one of the simplest options for a last-minute tour: all-inclusive hotels, the warm Red Sea and coral reefs you can swim to right from the beach. There is a direct flight from Tashkent to Sharm El Sheikh, and that is where most last-minute deals appear.

The usual duration is 7–10 nights. For Sharm El Sheikh it matters which flight you take: it determines whether you can enter without a visa with the Sinai stamp. We check this for every offer before sending it.

Do I need a visa for Sharm El Sheikh?

When flying by charter you can enter without a visa with the Sinai stamp — up to 14 days and within Sinai only, with mandatory registration. The rules are as of October 2026; we will double-check them for your dates before booking.

And to Hurghada?

For Hurghada, Uzbek citizens need a visa in advance from the Egyptian Embassy — we'll arrange it for you; on arrival there's an $8 registration fee (according to the tour operator). If that's where you want to go, start planning your trip earlier.

How much does the visa cost?

Tourist visa — $30; from January 1, 2027 — $33 (according to ATOR).

What are the passport requirements?

Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months after your return.

Can a teenager travel without their parents?

Travelers under 21 may enter Egypt only with one of their parents.

Are there direct flights from Tashkent?

Yes, to Sharm El Sheikh — Uzbekistan Airways, several times a week, about 6 hours in the air (5 h 50 min). There are no regular direct flights to Hurghada or Cairo.

What is the currency and the time difference?

The currency is the Egyptian pound; visa and registration fees are paid in dollars, so you will need dollars. Egypt is 2 hours behind Tashkent, and 3 hours in winter (after October 30).

When is the best time to go?

In October–November and from March to May: warm but not hot. In summer daytime temperatures are 34–35 °C; in winter the water is about 22–23 °C.

How much does a 7-day all-inclusive package to Egypt cost?

Which month are Egypt tours cheapest?

Right after the New Year holidays — in the second half of January and in February, tours can be almost half the price of New Year's. The most expensive dates are at the end of December.

Sharm El Sheikh or Hurghada — which to choose?

Sharm El Sheikh has a direct flight, reefs right off the shore, and less wind in winter; on a charter you can go visa-free. Hurghada has sandy beaches and a gentle entry into the sea, great with kids, but you need a visa in advance.

Can you vacation in Egypt in winter?

Yes: daytime +22…+25 °C, water around +22…+23 °C. In winter, Sharm El Sheikh and a hotel with a heated pool are the better choice; evenings are cool, so bring a warm sweater.

How much money should I bring to Egypt?
