Hiking in the mountains to the Jade Lakes.

Jade lakes are truly considered the pearls of the Ugam-Chatkal National Park. The lakes are located at an altitude of over 1200 meters above sea level. The upper lake is year-round, formed as a result of a rock collapse and has a depth of over 20 meters. So, you can come in winter and skate on the icy surface of the lake, surrounded by picturesque snow cliffs and mountain peaks.
Lower Urungach begins to fill in April and goes under the rocks by July.
The difference between the lakes is 400 meters and about 40 minutes of walking.
The route is suitable for both beginners and experienced tourists.

The length of the radial walking route is up to 6 km.

A large solar furnace was created to study materials, including refractory ones.
The complex consists of a heliofield with 64 heliostats, a large solar beam concentrator and a large solar furnace, which is capable of reaching temperatures of up to 3000 o C in a matter of seconds.
The excursion itself takes a little more than 1 hour and is located 40 kilometers from the city of Tashkent.

Hike to Lesser Chimgan.
The height of the mountain is 2099 meters above sea level. From the top of the mountain there is a gorgeous view of the surrounding area.
In spring, the slopes and ridge of Maly Chimgan Mountain are full of blooming red-listed tulips and eremuruses, and during the rainy season you can climb “above the clouds”.
Climbing to this peak is carried out all year round. With shoes with good tread and appropriate clothing, it is suitable even for beginners.

The length of the route is from 6 to 16 kilometers, depending on the chosen route.
Short routes can be combined with a visit to the Charva Reservoir and a paragliding flight, or with a boat trip.
Hike to Aksakata Canyon.
Marble Belt. Aksagata.
Aksakata Canyon is located 40 kilometers from Tashkent and is unique in its relief. One of the most picturesque routes of the Tashkent region begins along the left orographic bank of the Aksakatasay River near the settlement of Shuldak. A smooth climb along an inclined marble slab leads to the foot of the extinct volcano Syurenata. Along the entire route we come across fossilized shells of different sizes, the largest ones are the size of a palm.
Bluebirds, wood pigeons, starlings and thrushes nest in the cracks and crevices of steep cliffs. Cows and horses graze on green pastures. In the spring, tamarisk and wild bitter almonds bloom pink near the water.
The length of the route is up to 15 km.
The altitude gain is up to 500 meters.
The route is year-round, suitable for beginners, ornithologists and fans of paleontology and geology.


Tawaksay Canyon. Hike to the waterfalls.
The hike to the waterfalls and canyons of Tavaksay is one of the most popular routes from Tashkent. Tavaksay is located practically on the very edge of the end of the Karzhantau ridge, just 70 kilometers from the city of Tashkent and takes about 1.5 hours to drive to the starting point of the hiking part.
The route is year-round, mostly circular. It is 15 kilometers long with a total elevation gain of up to 700 meters. In the spring, in addition to the magnificent waterfalls, the route also pleases the eye with the blooming tulips and eremurus.
The height of the waterfalls varies from 7 to 40 meters.
Suitable for beginners with good physical fitness.
