Tour program
Day 1.
Bukhara-Alat – Farap checkpoint – Merv-Mary.
The guide will meet the tourists at the checkpoint. Then the trip to Mary. On the way, visit the excursion to Ancient Merv. Visit the historical park of Merv (under the protection of UNESCO). Merv was located at the crossroads of the Great Silk Road and quickly became one of the largest cities. The capital competed with cities of the Islamic world such as Baghdad, Cairo and Damascus. Excursion with a guide: Gyz Gala, Erk Gala, Soltan Gala, Mausoleum of Soltan Sanjar, Askhab, Yusup Hamadani, Mausoleum of Ibn Zeid. Accommodation at the hotel.
Day 2.
Mary – Ashgabat.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will go to Ashgabat. On the way, stop at: – Abivard, or Abi-ward, was an ancient Sassanid city in what is now Turkmenistan. Day 3.
Ashgabat.
After breakfast we go to the city of Ancient Nisa – the sanctuary of the Parthian kings (UNESCO World Heritage Site), continue visiting the Ruhy Mosque and the Mausoleum of the late President of Turkmenistan in the village of Kipchak. Then we will take an excursion to the horse farm, get acquainted with the pride of the Turkmen people – Akhal-Teke horses. Try traditional tea drinking, watch a short program – a demonstration of Akhal-Teke horses. Transfer to the station.
Day 4.
Balkanabat – Gozli Ata – Yangykala – Balkanabat
Upon arrival, early breakfast, transfer to Yangikala (Turkmen canyons). The verbal expression “yangi kala” is translated from Turkmen as “fire fortresses”. When we post photos from the canyon, tourists from all over the world ask whether it is Mars or Venus. We enjoy the view and lunch in nature. The next trip is to Gozli-Ata. According to available information, the respected Sufi lived in the early 14th century.
Then we go back to Balkanabat. On the way we stop in Mollakar (you can swim in a salt river, use a mud mask on the whole body, which heals and rejuvenates). Accommodation at the hotel. Rest.
Day 5.
Balkanabad – Nokhur-Kov-Ata – Ashgabat.
After breakfast, we will go to Ashgabat. On the way, the most picturesque place, the village of Nohur, The village itself fills a small valley in the Kopetdag Mountains, and the houses were built by local builders with cemented mud. The Nohurs live in several villages in the mountainous border zone covering Turkmenistan and Iran. After a sightseeing tour of the underground lake Kov Ata – Underground Lake. The water has a constant temperature of 33-37 ° C. We continue our way to Ashgabat.
Day 6.
Darvoz Gas Crater. Gates of Hell.
After breakfast at the hotel, we go to the Russian Bazaar to buy souvenirs. Then a trip to the south of the country to the center of one of the largest deserts in the world – “Karakum” – Darvaza – Gas Crater – Observation of the fantastic view of the crater day and night, we will feel the warmth and listen to the sound of the wind and the giant stove of the crater.

Day 7.
Darvaza-kunya-Urgench – Checkpoint Shavat – Uzbekistan.
After breakfast, drive to the Dashoguz/Shavat checkpoint. Crossing the border into Uzbekistan. Transfer to Urgench or Khiva. End of the tour.
